MDS200-LB — microwave radar distance sensor LoRaWAN . He uses 24 GHz microwave oven for definition distances between the sensor and various objects . Compare with ultrasonic or lidar measuring method, microwave radar more reliable for condensation/dusty environments . It can determine the correct distance even if there is water or thick dust on top of the sensor.
The MDS200-LB can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, parking control system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent garbage can control system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, etc.
The MDS200-LB can measure two distances: the nearest object and the next object behind the nearest object.
MDS200-LB supports alarm function , the user can set the MDS200-LB to transmit data after a short period of time when the distance exceeds the configured range.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the MDS200-LB allows the device to transmit data and reach extremely long distances at low data rates. It provides ultra-long range spread-spectrum communication and high immunity to interference while minimizing current consumption.
MDS200-LB supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update , which makes it easy for the user to use.
The MDS200-LB is powered from a Li-SOCI2 battery with a capacity of 8500 mAh , designed for long-term use up to 5 years.
Each MDS200-LB is pre-loaded with a set of unique LoRaWAN registration keys, register these keys to your local LoRaWAN server and it will connect automatically after power on.
