RS485 / Modbus to LoRaWAN converter Dragino RS485-LN

Dragino RS485-LN is an RS485 to LoRaWAN converter. It turns RS485 devices into a LoRaWAN wireless network, simplifying IoT deployment and reducing installation/maintenance costs.

The RS485-LN allows the user to monitor / control RS485 devices and achieve extremely large ranges. It provides ultra-long distance spread-spectrum communication and high immunity, while minimizing current consumption. It targets professional wireless sensor networks such as irrigation systems, smart meters, smart cities, building automation and so on.

For data transfer: RS485-LN sends user-defined commands to RS485 devices and receives responses from RS485 devices. The RS485-LN processes these responses according to a user-defined rule to obtain the final payload for upload to the LoRaWAN server.

For downlink data transmission: RS485-LN works in Class C LoRaWAN network. When downlink commands are received from LoRaWAN server, RS485-LN forwards commands from LoRaWAN server to RS485 devices.
