LoRaWAN base station Dragino LPS8v2

LPS8v2 is it an open source LoRaWAN gateway . It allows you to connect a LoRa wireless network to an IP network via WiFi, Ethernet or cellular network (via an additional 4G module). LoRa wireless communication allows users to send data and reach extremely long distances at low data rates.

LPS8v2 is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol. It supports different kinds of LoRaWAN network connections, such as: Semtech UDP Packet Forwarder, LoRaWAN Basic Station, ChirpStack MQTT Bridge etc. This allows the LPS8V2 to work with most LoRaWAN platforms on the market.

LPS8v2 also includes embedded LoRaWAN server and IoT server , which enable a system integrator to deploy an IoT service without a cloud service or a 3rd server.

Different countries use different LoRaWAN frequency bands. In LPS8v2, these ranges are preconfigured. Users can also configure frequency bands for use in their own LoRa network.

LPS8v2 supports remote control . The system integrator can easily monitor and maintain the gateway remotely.
