MDS120-LB — microwave radar distance sensor LoRaWAN . It uses microwave radar to determine the distance between the sensor and various objects. Unlike ultrasonic or lidar measurement. Microwave radar more reliable for condensation/dusty environments . It can determine the correct distance even if there is water or dust on top of the sensor.
The MDS120-LB can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, parking control system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent garbage can control system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, etc.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the MDS120-LB allows the device to transmit data and reach extremely long distances at low data rates. It provides ultra-long range spread-spectrum communication and high immunity to interference while minimizing current consumption.
MDS120-LB supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update , which makes it easy for the user to use.
The MDS120-LB is powered from a Li-SOCI2 battery with a capacity of 8500 mAh , designed for long-term use up to 5 years.
Each MDS120-LB is pre-loaded with a set of unique LoRaWAN registration keys, register these keys to the local LoRaWAN server and it will connect automatically after power on.
