Distance sensor Dragino LDS12-LB LoRaWAN/LiDAR/ToF

The LDS12-LB is it LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF (Time of Flight) distance sensor for an Internet of Things solution. It is able to measure the distance to the object at a distance of 10 centimeters (+/- 5 cm to 6 m) and up to 12 meters (+/-1%, starting from 6 m)! The LiDAR probe uses laser induction technology to measure distance.

The LDS12-LB can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, parking control system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent garbage can control system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, etc.

It determines the distance between the measured object and the sensor and uploads the value wirelessly to the LoRaWAN IoT server.

The LoRa wireless technology used in the LDS12-LB allows the device to transmit data and reach extremely long distances at low data rates. It provides ultra-long range spread-spectrum communication and high immunity to interference while minimizing current consumption.

LDS12-LB supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update , which makes it easy for the user to use.

LDS12-LB is powered by Li-SOCI2 battery with a capacity of 8500 mAh , designed for long-term use up to 5 years.

Each LDS12-LB is pre-loaded with a set of unique LoRaWAN registration keys, register these keys to your local LoRaWAN server and it will connect automatically after power on.
