LMDS200 is a LoRaWAN microwave radar distance sensor. It uses 24 GHz microwaves to determine the distance between the sensor and various objects. Compared to ultrasonic or lidar measurement methods, microwave radar is more reliable for condensation/dusty environments. It can determine the correct distance even if there is water or thick dust on top of the sensor.
The LMDS200 can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent garbage can management system, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewerage, etc.
The LMDS200 can measure two distances: the nearest object and the next object behind the nearest object.
LMDS200 supports alarm function, the user can set LMDS200 to transmit data after a short period of time when the distance exceeds the set range.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the LMDS200 allows devices to transmit data and reach extremely long distances at low data rates. It provides ultra-long range spread-spectrum communication and high immunity to interference while minimizing current consumption.
The LMDS200 is powered by a Li-SOCI2 battery with a capacity of 8500 mAh, designed for long-term use of up to 5 years.
Each LMDS200 is pre-loaded with a set of unique LoRaWAN registration keys, register these keys to your local LoRaWAN server and it will connect automatically after power on.
