The RS485-LN allows the user to monitor / control RS485 devices and achieve extremely large ranges. It provides ultra-long distance spread-spectrum communication and high immunity, while minimizing current consumption. It targets professional wireless sensor networks such as irrigation systems, smart meters, smart cities, building automation and so on.

For data transfer: RS485-LN sends user-defined commands to RS485 devices and receives responses from RS485 devices. The RS485-LN processes these responses according to a user-defined rule to obtain the final payload for upload to the LoRaWAN server.

For downlink data transmission: RS485-LN works in Class C LoRaWAN network. When downlink commands are received from LoRaWAN server, RS485-LN forwards commands from LoRaWAN server to RS485 devices.

The RS485-BL can be connected to an RS485 sensor, a 3.3V/5V UART sensor, or an interrupt sensor. RS485-BL provides 3.3V output and 5V output for powering external sensors. Both output voltages can be controlled to minimize total system power consumption.

RS485-BL is available waterproof according to the IP67 standard and powered by Li-SOCI2 battery with a capacity of 8500 mAh . It is intended for long-term use for several years.

RS485-BL works with the standard LoRaWAN 1.0.3 in class A. It can achieve large transmission range and easily integrate with LoRaWAN-compatible gateway and IoT server.

Each RS485-BL pre-downloads a set of unique LoRaWAN registration keys, register these keys to the local LoRaWAN server and it will connect automatically after power on.
